PROFILE:

As a qualified Accounting Technician with an Honours Degree in Business Administration I have been automating and managing the finance functions of companies both large and small for more than 12 years. Generally operating at Financial Controller level I am highly IT literate especially in MS Excel and all the various SAGE accounts packages.

Unlike stereotypical ‘accountants’ I am very commercial with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and particularly enjoy working alongside existing finance department staff, managers and directors.

Experience:
Over the last 12 years, prior to joining TandIM, I was financial controller for two large enterprises, a £70 million hotel group where I was responsible for the head office accounts function including 43 staff, and amongst other things, liasing with hotel based general mangers and accountants, production of annual budgets and for the production of accurate trading figures and forecasting.

Prior to that, I was the financial controller of a £4.5 million division of a foreign owned electronics manufacturing company and was also responsibility for the entire sales administration department which handled invoicing, credit control, sales, purchase and general ledger.

Recently I have been acting as interim financial controller to a number of enterprises of various sizes.
