PROFILE:

My early career included a number of management and business development positions, mainly in the IT and Telecommunications market and later in the textile sector. With extensive experience of ‘start up’ and ‘turnaround’ situations in the UK, USA and Far East, most recently China I have an Honours Degree in Business and am a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Experience:
During my career as MD, Sales & Marketing Director and General Manager I have acquired extensive experience in the public and private sectors and have led organisations and people through periods of fundamental change and spectacular growth in large and SME’s.

Examples include:-
• Driving a £ multi-million UK manufacturing company towards sustainable and profitable growth through enhanced Design & Development, focussed supply chain management and the penetration of the US market

• Advising the owners of a privately held sub £1 million light engineering company on its succession route. Subsequently successfully completing the sale of the business.

• Successfully managing significant change during and thorough the acquisition of a UK based subsidiary by a new foreign owner.
